School and baseball

Well, we have started our school year. Allison is loving middle school. She loves the "better" cafeteria and food choices. She loves the freedom and the ability to have a locker that she goes to in between classes. She has started band and had her first private lesson, so she is very excited. She will also be taking tennis lessons and that's something she's very excited about. Shelby has started 3rd grade and I have already heard from her teacher. She said Shelby is very helpful and quiet. I laughed to myself and thought just wait til she gets comfortable, she can get loud because she forgets she has good lungs. But she loves her teacher and has some friends in class so we are excited for her. Shaun is in 1st grade and has had his kinder teacher move up with him to 1st. She said he is doing a great job being a leader in class esp for the new students in the class who did not have her last year. He is also playing baseball for the first time. He loves it! He willingly practices with Doug or with the practice net Doug has bought him. I am not sure who's more excited Doug or Shaun. Of course, truth be told Momma can't sit down while her boy is up to bat! I did not see that coming! And finally I am doing okay so far with my two classes. I am sure I'm the oldest in my local govt class, but that's alright as long as they don't start asking me how it was to live through WWII!
But I am enjoying it and I'm excited to continue in my psych classes. Well, that's us for now, til next time!!
